Classroom supplies specs & selection guide sizes, surfaces, magnetic options, MOQ, logos and school bid requirements
This guide collects the specifications buyers set when sourcing dry erase boards, magnetic whiteboards, easels, bulletin boards and borders, classroom rugs, pocket charts, wobble stools and classroom storage. It describes materials and processes — it is not a list of ratings, certifications or test results.
- Dry erase surfaces, sizes and frames
- Magnetic vs non-magnetic boards
- Rugs, charts, seating and storage construction
- Logo methods, packaging, MOQ drivers and compliance process
Dry erase surfaces and frames
- Melamine / laminate — entry and mid-tier classroom dry erase boards.
- Painted steel and porcelain steel — higher traffic; often magnetic (see below).
- Glass — premium tempered glass writing surfaces.
- Frames — aluminum (anodized), plastic, wood-look; marker trays and mounting kits.
- Sizes — standard classroom sizes plus custom on quote; confirmed on drawings and samples.
Magnetic vs non-magnetic
A magnetic whiteboard uses a steel core so classroom magnets stick. Melamine-on-board products are usually non-magnetic. We do not publish pull-force ratings: you specify the magnet type and holding need; samples are verified to that. Whiteboard easels can take either surface type.
Bulletin boards and cork
Bulletin boards include natural and self-healing cork, fabric-wrapped panels and combination dry erase + cork frames. Bulletin board borders are a separate print/convert product (paper, die-cut, laminated).
Bulletin board borders
Width, length, paper weight, laminate and self-stick options are set per SKU. Artwork is private label under your brand — no third-party licensed characters without your rights documents.
Classroom rugs
Fiber, pile, backing, edge finish and school sizes for classroom rugs are set per SKU. Educational print (alphabet, seating spots) uses your artwork. Flammability and material tests are buyer-specified when required for bids.
Pocket charts
Body material, clear pocket count and size, grommets and optional card kits for pocket charts are confirmed on samples.
Flexible seating and wobble stools
Wobble stools: base geometry, seat height, non-slip ring and colors. Load and tip behavior are buyer-specified and verified on samples — no ratings published here. Related seat types sit under flexible seating.
Classroom storage
Classroom storage bins, book bins and caddies: plastic type, nesting, colors and multipack assortments. Classroom storage bins are covered here as supporting assortment rather than a thin separate URL.
Logo methods
- Frame badges and labels — boards, easels, stools.
- Print on packaging / headers — borders, charts, small goods.
- Care labels — rugs and soft goods.
- Molded or pad-printed marks — plastic seating and bins.
Packaging options
Corner-protected cartons for boards; roll wrap or boxes for rugs; header bags for borders and charts; multipack cartons for stools and bins; barcodes and marketplace labels per SKU.
Packaging & MOQ
What drives MOQ:
- Tooling — existing frames, molds or print setups with your logo start lower than new designs.
- Materials and finishes — surface types, cork, fabrics, plastics and colors have minimums per type.
- Print and packaging — custom border print runs and retail boxes have their own minimums; neutral packaging with a label starts lower.
- Testing — buyer-specified third-party tests may set a practical minimum per SKU.
- Mixed SKUs — combining categories helps fill a shipment.
MOQ and lead time are quoted per SKU on every quotation; no prices are published. Send your RFQ via the inquiry form.
Compliance — buyer-specified third-party testing
We do not claim school certifications, fire ratings, child-safety standard results, magnetic strength figures or load ratings on this site. Compliance belongs to a specific SKU, market and channel:
- Channel. You tell us where the product will be sold (school district bid, teaching-aid distributor, stationery wholesale, marketplace) and what documents your buyer requires.
- Boards and easels. Material declarations and any buyer-named tests; magnetic performance verified on samples to your magnet spec.
- Rugs and soft seating. Flammability, heavy metals or other tests named in bid documents — arranged at a third-party lab you choose or approve, on request, quoted per SKU.
- Plastics and printed goods. Material and ink-related tests when your channel requires them.
- Claims. Labels and packaging claims are approved by your team; we never invent capacity, certification or customer-case claims.
Labeling and claims are the brand owner’s responsibility. Rules change; confirm current requirements with your test lab or compliance advisor. We cooperate with third-party testing as requested by the buyer.

General reference for product selection — not product ratings or test results. Testing and documentation are confirmed per SKU and per order.
No school certifications, fire ratings, child-safety test data or product ratings claimed. We describe what each product is made of and how it can be customized. We do not display certification or listing marks, publish magnetic strength figures, load ratings, flammability results, factory capacity or customer cases on this site. Where your channel or school bid needs testing or documentation, it is buyer-specified and available on request — arranged per SKU at a third-party lab you choose or approve. Labeling and claims are the brand owner’s responsibility.
Frequently asked questions
Do you publish magnetic strength or load ratings?
No. Those depend on the exact design and use; you specify the requirement and test method, and samples are verified before any figure goes on your packaging.
Can you support school bid documentation?
Yes — tell us which tests or documents the bid names. Third-party testing is available on request and quoted per SKU; we do not invent certificates.
How strong is the magnetic surface on your whiteboards?
We do not publish magnetic pull-force figures or “magnetic grade” ratings on this site. Magnetic performance depends on the steel sheet gauge, coating and magnet type your program uses. You specify the magnet type and pull you need for classroom use; we build pre-production samples to that spec and you verify them — in-house or through third-party testing arranged on request. Any magnetic claim on your packaging or listing must come from that verification and is the brand owner’s claim. See the magnetic vs non-magnetic section of our specs guide.
Are classroom rugs and seating fire-rated or child-safe certified?
We do not claim fire ratings, flammability certifications, phthalate-free status, lead content results or any child-safety test data on this site. School bids and retail channels often require specific tests (for example flammability, heavy metals or phthalates). Tell us which tests your buyer or bid documents name; third-party testing at a lab you choose or approve is available on request and quoted per SKU. Labels and claims are the brand owner’s responsibility.
Are your classroom products certified for schools?
We do not claim any school certification, fire rating, child-safety standard, listing or test result on this site — no ASTM, CPSIA, EN 71, CAL 117, UL, CE, RoHS, REACH or similar marks. Compliance belongs to a specific SKU, a specific market and a specific sales channel: tell us the destination market, the channel (school district bid, teaching-aid distributor, stationery wholesale, e-commerce) and the standard, test or document your buyer asks for, and the quotation sets out how it will be handled — typically third-party testing at a lab you choose or approve, on production samples, available on request and quoted per SKU. See the compliance section of our specs guide or ask on the inquiry form.
What is the MOQ and lead time?
Both are quoted per SKU. MOQ depends mainly on the tooling (an existing mold or frame vs. a new design), material and finish, colors, logo method, packaging and any buyer-specified testing; lead time depends on customization, sampling rounds, testing and season. Send your quantities and we confirm both on the quotation — see also the packaging & MOQ section of our specs guide.
