Classroom rug manufacturing alphabet, seating and educational rugs for school floors
A classroom rug defines the gathering space — circle time, reading corners and seating spots mapped onto durable carpet. SlateForge builds classroom rugs for school suppliers, teaching-aid distributors, stationery wholesalers and education brands: alphabet and number rugs, seating spot rugs, map and subject rugs, and solid or patterned area rugs in school sizes, with your artwork and packaging. Pair rugs with flexible seating and pocket charts for a full soft-furnishings program.

Construction and sizes
Pile type (cut, loop), fiber (nylon, polypropylene, polyester blends as specified), density, backing (jute, latex, non-slip) and bound or serged edges are set per SKU. Common school sizes (for example 4×6, 6×9, 8×12 ft and metric equivalents) are available as platforms; custom sizes on quote. Dimensions and print registration are confirmed on samples. Details in the rugs section of the specs guide.
Artwork and packaging
You own the print artwork under your brand. We do not reproduce other companies’ trademarked characters. Packaging can be rolled with wrap, boxed for parcel channels, or bulk for school freight, with care labels and barcodes.
Compliance — buyer-specified, not claimed
School bids often ask for flammability, heavy metals or other material tests. We claim none of those results on this site. Third-party testing at a lab you choose or approve is available on request and quoted per SKU. Labels and claims are the brand owner’s responsibility.

Frequently asked questions
Can you print exclusive classroom rug designs?
Yes — private label artwork. We do not use other brands’ trademarked characters or licensed properties without your rights documentation.
Are rugs fire-rated for schools?
We do not claim fire ratings here. Tell us which flammability test your bid requires; third-party testing is available on request per SKU.
Are classroom rugs and seating fire-rated or child-safe certified?
We do not claim fire ratings, flammability certifications, phthalate-free status, lead content results or any child-safety test data on this site. School bids and retail channels often require specific tests (for example flammability, heavy metals or phthalates). Tell us which tests your buyer or bid documents name; third-party testing at a lab you choose or approve is available on request and quoted per SKU. Labels and claims are the brand owner’s responsibility.
What is the MOQ and lead time?
Both are quoted per SKU. MOQ depends mainly on the tooling (an existing mold or frame vs. a new design), material and finish, colors, logo method, packaging and any buyer-specified testing; lead time depends on customization, sampling rounds, testing and season. Send your quantities and we confirm both on the quotation — see also the packaging & MOQ section of our specs guide.
Are your classroom products certified for schools?
We do not claim any school certification, fire rating, child-safety standard, listing or test result on this site — no ASTM, CPSIA, EN 71, CAL 117, UL, CE, RoHS, REACH or similar marks. Compliance belongs to a specific SKU, a specific market and a specific sales channel: tell us the destination market, the channel (school district bid, teaching-aid distributor, stationery wholesale, e-commerce) and the standard, test or document your buyer asks for, and the quotation sets out how it will be handled — typically third-party testing at a lab you choose or approve, on production samples, available on request and quoted per SKU. See the compliance section of our specs guide or ask on the inquiry form.
