Ordering, OEM & wholesale

Does SlateForge sell to consumers or individual teachers?

No. We are a B2B supplier for education and stationery brands, school procurement partners, teaching-aid distributors, stationery wholesalers and e-commerce sellers. End users should buy from our customers’ retail channels.

What is the minimum order quantity?

MOQ is quoted per SKU and depends on tooling, materials and finishes, colors, logo method, packaging and any buyer-specified testing. Mixed orders across categories are welcome — see wholesale and the packaging & MOQ section of our specs guide.

Can I put my own brand on dry erase boards, rugs and other classroom supplies?

Yes. Private label logos, custom colors and finishes, and retail packaging are covered in our OEM & private label program.

Are your products school-certified or fire-rated?

We do not claim any school certification, fire rating, child-safety test result or listing on this site. Testing at a third-party lab you choose or approve is available on request when your bid or channel requires it. See the compliance section of our specs guide.

Do you supply school district and teaching-aid distributor programs?

Yes — boards, rugs, charts, seating and storage quoted per program. See wholesale and dry erase boards.

How fast do you reply to inquiries?

Typically within 24 hours on working days. Use the inquiry form.

What is the minimum order for private label?

MOQ is quoted per SKU and depends on how much is customized — an existing design with your logo starts lower than new tooling, custom print or printed retail boxes.

Can I mix categories in one order?

Yes. Mixed orders across boards, rugs, charts, seating and storage are common; each SKU is quoted separately.

Who is responsible for testing and claims?

The brand owner decides which claims go on the product and which tests back them. We build verification samples, arrange third-party testing on request and print the content your team approves.

How strong is the magnetic surface on your whiteboards?

We do not publish magnetic pull-force figures or “magnetic grade” ratings on this site. Magnetic performance depends on the steel sheet gauge, coating and magnet type your program uses. You specify the magnet type and pull you need for classroom use; we build pre-production samples to that spec and you verify them — in-house or through third-party testing arranged on request. Any magnetic claim on your packaging or listing must come from that verification and is the brand owner’s claim. See the magnetic vs non-magnetic section of our specs guide.

Are classroom rugs and seating fire-rated or child-safe certified?

We do not claim fire ratings, flammability certifications, phthalate-free status, lead content results or any child-safety test data on this site. School bids and retail channels often require specific tests (for example flammability, heavy metals or phthalates). Tell us which tests your buyer or bid documents name; third-party testing at a lab you choose or approve is available on request and quoted per SKU. Labels and claims are the brand owner’s responsibility.

Are your classroom products certified for schools?

We do not claim any school certification, fire rating, child-safety standard, listing or test result on this site — no ASTM, CPSIA, EN 71, CAL 117, UL, CE, RoHS, REACH or similar marks. Compliance belongs to a specific SKU, a specific market and a specific sales channel: tell us the destination market, the channel (school district bid, teaching-aid distributor, stationery wholesale, e-commerce) and the standard, test or document your buyer asks for, and the quotation sets out how it will be handled — typically third-party testing at a lab you choose or approve, on production samples, available on request and quoted per SKU. See the compliance section of our specs guide or ask on the inquiry form.

Do you have price tiers?

Yes, pricing is tiered by quantity per SKU and confirmed on quotation. No prices are published on this site.

Do you sell to consumers or individual teachers?

No, we supply businesses and organizations only: brands, school suppliers, distributors, wholesalers and e-commerce sellers. End users buy from our customers’ retail channels.

Do you sell directly to consumers or teachers?

No. We supply businesses and organizations — brands, school suppliers, distributors, wholesalers and e-commerce sellers.

Which markets do you serve?

This site focuses on the US market; we also quote other destinations. Tell us your market and its requirements.

How do I get a catalog?

Request it through the inquiry form with your business details.

Dry Erase Boards

Melamine or steel — which dry erase board should my line use?

Melamine is the usual entry and mid-tier classroom board; painted or porcelain steel is chosen for higher traffic and when magnetic holding is required. Glass is typically a premium office or modern-classroom SKU. Compare samples for ghosting and wipe feel before deciding.

Is a dry erase board the same as a magnetic whiteboard?

Not always. A dry erase board is any board with a dry erase writing surface. A magnetic whiteboard is a dry erase board with a steel core that holds magnets. We keep them on separate pages so each URL targets one primary keyword.

Can you make custom sizes for school bids?

Yes. Standard classroom sizes ship fastest; custom sizes are quoted when sheet stock and frame tooling allow. Dimensions are confirmed on drawings and samples.

Difference between magnetic whiteboard and dry erase board?

A magnetic whiteboard is a dry erase board with a steel core. Non-magnetic melamine boards are covered on the dry erase board hub so each page keeps one primary keyword.
